CLICKS JABULANI MALL - STAFF DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR

On Saturday, 02 November 2019 I had the most disgusting service from the Manager (Nelisiwe Sokhele) and her staff. I went to the shop as early as 8:45, because I needed to get a few items for my daughter who was going on tour. The intention of going to the mall that early, was to ensure that when Clicks opens at 09:00am, I could get the necessities I needed as quickly as possible, so I can drive my daughter to the meeting point for her trip.

Little did I know that the manager at Clicks - Jabulani (Nelisiwe Sokhele), will be the one deciding my daughter's fate (whether she goes on the trip or not.) Many other customers and I stood outside the door of the shop waiting for the staff to open. At 09:00 the shop was still not opened, but a lady came to the door to tell customers that they will delay opening as the pharmacy staff has not arrived yet. She then locked the door again and disappeared to the back of the shop.

This caused a big commotion as customers started to complain. The security guard that was by the door, was asked to open and was told that, many of us that were there did not need anything from the pharmacy. This security guard was rude and clearly not trained on customer service. One of the female staff members, started mopping the floor, and the second security guard was also standing by the door, wearing his tie in full view of customers. All this happens during operating hours while customers are locked outside. The behaviour from this branch staff is appalling to say the least.

Eventually when Nelisiwe Sokhele (the manager), decided to open the door, I confronted her about what was happening. She ignored me and tried to walk away with no explanation or apology. I don’t think this lady know much about management from how she handled the situation. Her walking away, infuriated me even more, I wonder what is Clicks doing hiring clowns that have a lazy, nonchalant and stinking behaviour. The Jabulani staff lack professionalism and customer service s****s. TOTALLY DISGUSTING!!!

I asked her (Nelisiwe Sokhele), what would have happened if the pharmacy staff arrived at 10:00am or did not arrive at all, was she still going to lock everyone out? She could not answer this question, instead told me that she can only open the shop when all staff has arrived. If this is really Click's policy, then it is utter nonsense and needs to be reviewed.

I expect to know if the Jabulani staff was addressed on this matter and the outcome thereof, as this seems to be the norm for them to open the shop after 09:00am. I eventually left the shop around 09:25, when I could have been there for 5 minutes only. This needs to stop immediately!!!!
