Good day, On 23 October at your Gardens Shopping Centre one of your pharmacists - Buntu Somdyala - was extremely rude while I was attempting to pick up my medication. Both my tickets were not called - and I have 2 witnesses who can attest to the fact that neither of my numbers were called out and can witnessed his behavior. Then when another customer’s ticket got called out, the man had to tell your pharmacist that I’ve been waiting here longer and Buntu then begrudgingly decided to help. When I pointed out that I had been waiting for 20 minutes just to pick up prescription medication he said to me “Maybe you should open your ears next time”. I was completely taken aback at that point because since when do your employees think they can talk to their customers that way! When I pointed out that he was being rude he began to raise his voice at me and at this point I felt threatened that there was this man being aggressive towards me and non of your other pharmacists cared to help. Furthermore, I will also make this a racial issue because it’s not the first time that I’ve been treated badly by your Gardens pharmacists, and both times I was the only person of color in the store and both times your pharmacists felt like they could treat me with no respect.
