CLICKS EMPLOYEE PULLING A MIDDLE FINGER TO A 7 YEAR OLD
Casually came into the Clicks store at the Somerset Mall to do my shopping as usual. While picking up my last items my nephew tells me a Clicks employee showed him a middle figure. Absolutely shocked and puzzled I asked him if he is sure about this. Then he said yes he is and he wouldn’t just randomly lie about someone passing. While buying the last times on my shopping list I noted that this very employee bumped my nephew with a trolley he was pushing but it was nothing serious so I chose to ignore it. It then all my sense as to why he swore at my nephew because he was standing in HIS way while turning and pushing the trolley which had stock or whatever store supplies. We then followed him, I ask and confronted him. He then verbally attacked my nephew. Fuming with anger I told him to please talk to me and not talk to my nephew like that. As he was a minor and just merely 7 years old. Perhaps a quarter of his age. This employee wasn’t even wearing a name tag so I couldn’t note or get his name. He then decided to give me an attitude and deny everything. I went straight to the front tellers and requested to see the manager. The manager came and I informed her of what just happened. She asked who was the employee who did this. I told her I can’t give her that information as he wasn’t wearing his name tagged but I described the guy. We then went to the office and dealt with the matter. Upon arriving in the office the employee was so casual and unbothered about this incident. He was seated on the desk, arms folded and a blank facial expression. This painted a picture of him not giving a **** about all this. My nephew was emotional because of such. He did not even say sorry I had to ask if this is how he treated young children, his own children or younger relatives. He then merely apologized with no sincere sense of meaning. I got the relevant details on how to escalate this matter, which I will be doing by calling head office and sending them an email. I couldn’t even finish off my shopping the way I was so angry, disgusted and I am pretty sure I would not want to go back to that store ever again.
