#Clicks don't care
I recently had the displeasure of shopping at the Clicks store at Mt Edgecombe Plaza in Phoenix.
This is not my first bad experience at a Clicks store.
Each month we buy our childrens skin care products from Clicks. The items for sale are rarely in stock. We always have to go from one store to another.
In my most recent experience at the above store, we needed to buy the Benzac cream, which was on a buy 2 get one free offer.
The store only had two. I spoke to the assistant and the manager(Jordash).
The only options offered were: 1) to drive to another store, or 2) to wait till new stock arrived ( of which no date was given, I was told to wait indefinitely).
I asked about a raincheck, I was rudely told by the above manager that Clicks do not offer rainchecks. Also that stock cannot be transferred from a nearby, the customer must go to the store that has the stock available.
So my question is simple: I was expected to pay for a promotion item, but not receive the extra item. How does this work?
I'm extremely irritated by the fact that this young man, spoke like a robot, repeating the same lines, and did not even take the time to understand that we leave our homes to support Clicks as a group. He spoke in a very condescending matter to me.
And to top it all, when I asked to be put through to your head office he transferred me to the customer service Dept, who offered no alternatives as well.
In that moment, I realised that Clicks as a group, have a "don't care" culture towards its customers.
I say this shopping in three Clicks stores close to my home.
In the future I be will be shopping at your competitors.
