Clicks do better!

My sister bought me a tony and guy hairdryer for my birthday last year and last month it just stopped working. I have the box and it indicates there is a 2 year guarantee. I called the store to let them know that she no longer has the slip and they advised that proof of purchase could be obtained from the call centre if she used her club card. She just got off the line with the call centre and they said they do not pick her purchase up, however she did advise them that she has the box as well as a bank statement as proof. The call centre says they cannot work with that unfortunately and there's nothing more they can do. Surely this is utter nonsense clicks, the box and bank statement should help. Why are you'll not requesting a EJ report or trying harder. I don't even have it for a year and it's blown. Dissapointing to say the least
