Clicks club card point unusable

I've had my clicks benefit card for over 2 years and I've been swiping it at shell everytime I fill up. Yesterday I went to check my points and wanted to use these to make a small purchase. I was told I have close to 2k points which I cannot use because my card is not registered. (Not my problem #1) What annoys me is they then said I should call customer service to have it done. After that I am told i cannot use these until end of November. Why? When I've had the card for over 2 years and never ever used any of my points? I'm very disappointed and would rather go to dischem!!
