Clicks Centurion mall against black women

On the 27th of April 2022 ( FREEDOM DAY) my fiancé went to centurion mall to do some shopping. Time was approximately 3pm. She made purchases in a number of stores and eventually ended up in CENTURION MALL CLICKS stores where we usually purchase our monthly toiletries. With a trolley full of shopping bags she entered the store and picked the items we required. The trolley was full and so she proceeded shopping and placing items in the trolley she came in with. When done she went to the tills to make payment. She paid for items to the value of R670. When about to exit the store it was discovered that 4 roll on's were not accounted for on the till slip. Simply because they were in-between the shopping bags she entered the store with, which was an honest mistake due to the fact that she was distracted by a phone call she had received. She then offered to pay for the items as she had no other intensions. But then she was denied the opportunity to make the payment instead she was escorted to the office by a very rude security guard where she was interrogated and accused of theft. The store manager by the name of Thabiso seemed happy and excited to embarrass and damage my lady's reputation. Instead of finding a reasonable solution he opted to call the police on her in the name of "following procedure". Procedures which we are well aware that they are directed to black women. Police came into the store and arrested her, she was paraded in the mall with police escorting her like a dangerous ******** and was then thrown in the back of a police van. She was driven to two police stations and later thrown in a jail cell in Sunnyside police station. We fought and got bail, then the next day we attended court where the case was immediately thrown out as the prosecutor concluded it was a pathetic charge and possibly an ulterior motive is behind all this. This whole ordeal has left us extremely furious and has damaged us tremendously. our reputations have been tarnished, my lady cant even sleep nor eat properly. She was labelled a ***** and be made to experience unexplainable trauma. By profession she is a nurse in a well know private hospital in gauteng. Her career was put in jeopardy over a rude and mean manager who wanted to flex his power as a manager against an innocent helpless woman. We have since consulted with a number of family members and legal personnel and it was discovered that a family friend suffered the same fate in the very same store after she forgot to pay for a single pen after making purchases in the store. It is rumored that security guards or store managers or both get a bonus for embarrassing black women and putting them to shame in the name of theft without even evaluating the circumstances. They are quick to shout theft so they can cash in. After the incidence that happened a while back in CLICKS boulders mall on heritage day we have since concluded that there is an agenda against black people in clicks stores. We are being violated and our images tarnished all in the name of pathetic procedures directed at hurting black people. To think revenue is mostly drawn from black women but yet they being violated in this stores is very upset. This disgusting act committed by store manager Thabiso and elsewhere must come to an immediate end. Every black lady or gent must be made aware of this act. We were violated on freedom day ironically, the day where we were supposed to celebrate freedom which we clearly don't have in CLICKS stores. This issue will definitely be escalated to people who are really fighting for our freedom such as organizations like the economic freedom fighters, women against abuse and many others to bring awareness to this violating act performed by clicks store managers working together with security guards.
