CLICKS AND REVLON : A MATCH MADE IN SHOPPER'S HELL

While on vacation in South Africa in December 2019, I invested in the Revlon Hairdryer Brush and was assured by the sales assistant that it was the best in the brand. She was correct and it worked well for two months, after which it simply stopped working while I was in Turkey. Since March, I have been communicating with Revlon and from the 6 July 2020, I have been in contact with Clicks who have sent me multiple emails, each time demanding more information, receipts, barcodes, images etc. It would seem that I - and not the hairdryer brush- is the problem. I have been jumping through hoops to accommodate their requests (and let it be known that even though there is a one-hour time zone difference, it takes Clicks a few days to reply to each email). They assured me that their supplier would be in contact. NADA. I am disgusted at the service - and shocked that a branded product which costs around 800ZAR would stop working after two months. This does not happen with products bought in Europe. Overall, disgusted. A note to foreigners - DO NOT SUPPORT SOUTH AFRICAN stores because the international warranty is a joke. I bought it out of necessity and it was not worth the aggravation that I am going through to get it attended to. SUB STANDARD product and service.
