Click can't supply strips for their on product

I'm very much disappointed with clicks, clicks is selling it's own brand blood glucose meter called easy max,the problem is for many months I have been going to clicks to buy test strips for this meter but they were never available, today I enquired with the manager on duty and she told me that easy max glucose meter has been discontinued,what I'm I supposed to do with the meter now?the funny part is that this metre is still available on display,how can clicks dumb a product on their customers that becomes useless in a few months,are we supposed to buy other metres that will also not be supported in a few months?
