Black friday more expensive than pre-black friday deal

Im very disappointed in Clicks. Everyone knows to save for Black friday as things tend to be cheaper. I thought Clicks would be no different. They ran an applince special at 40% off appliances as their pre-black friday special. Not a problem, many shops do that as a “warm-up” to the actual day. Take YDE’s naked sale for example, they start low and go up to 75% off. Not Clicks, they do the opposite. Pre-black friday was cheaper than the actual black friday, had people known that pre-black friday was cheaper, no one would anxiously wait for it. That 40% off individual items turned into 20% off individual items. and you only qualify for 40% with multiple appliance purchases. Basically being penalised for waiting on the black friday sale. Disappointing.
