Big chip bank cards

Ongoing for more than a month, the credit card machines for Bayside and Sunningdale clicks stores are not able to read big chip cards. Stores excuse is it's the new machines they got, customer services say the stores are supposed to log it, it's the same excuses and no solutions. Rather embarrassing wanting to pay and this happens. I would like to know if they are planning to fix it and also request a copy of all my doctor prescriptions to go somewhere else. Surely more than a month was sufficient to get a roaming speed point for instances like these? Everyone just blaming the other, never thought Clicks would be so pro-active to lose customers.
