Bad service and no follow upq

On 20/12/17 I purchased an electric toothbrush from Clicks online. I used instant eft payment option and according to my bank records payment was successful. No order number was received as is usually the case so I called customer care department. Was told that the accounts department would call me within 48hrs and I may have to provide proof of payment. Called bk a short while later and asked why it would take so long and had to insist on an email confirmation of my query. To date have received no follow up from any Clicks department even though I asked for query to be escalated as I was not happy with service provided. Now over 48 hrs later have heard nothing....Shocking service Clicks!

Despite putting my query on the Clicks customer service Facebook page and sending a further 2 emails, I have not heard anything further from Clicks. At the moment I’m assuming that this is due to the number of public holidays during this time. Considering that I was told someone would contact me within 48 hrs, this is certainly concerning. A strong warning indeed to anyone wishing to make an online purchase with Clicks.

Today after numerous attempts to get somewhere with this query, it was confirmed to me that Clicks did receive our payment. This, after having to send through banking details, proof of purchase etc and a good deal of time between the last time I was told that I would be contacted by the accounts department, something I was today advised would never happen as the accounts department do not have direct contact with the public. Clicks need to seriously get their act together. To add insult to injury, I was advised that the refund via EFT would take approximately 7-14 days to process.... Having said this, the manageress at Scottburgh Clicks has been very helpful in assisting me with this matter. I have no doubt that it is only due to her assistance that we have come this far. My advice to anyone wishing to make an online purchase safely: DO NOT DEAL with Clicks online.
