Bad service

I ordered items online on the 19th of Nov, Paid via instant eft and money deducted from my account. I never received an order confirmation, Contacted the call centre and they confirmed that the money was received but they had a technical issue. I now have to wait 20 working days for a refund. The items purchased was for a year end function on the 2nd? Why not just issue a voucher so that the customer can purchase the items? This is unacceptable. Not getting any response from the call centre now.
