Bad customer service

I bought 4 x Accucheck Active strips from Clicks in December 2019, i had one left and could not use it anymore as i got a new blood glucose machine. I wanted to refund it at Clicks but did not have my slip so i phoned the club card department to check for the purchase, with struggling a day they could not help me and told me that i cant refund the product but can exchange it for anything else in store wich the staff in store did not want to do. They exchanged it for my new sticks but i did not want that as i got 3 packets at the clinic already. Im just very upset as i could have used the exchange much better.
