************** against customers that are regarded as poor or in a lower economic bracket
Clicks, Gugulethu Mall: 20 September 2024, 17:12. Rude, unprofessional and unapologetic by a pharmacist assistant - Azabeuncedo and Kwanele. They didn’t greet and dismissed my domestic worker when she approached the pharmacist counter to ask a question(I was on a call at the time and observed the rude dismissive interaction). Upon our number being called to the counter, Azabe*****do just starred at me and my helper and didn’t greet us. I greeted her and addressed her rude and unprofessional behaviour. While I was telling her about her unprofessional attitude she was picking her teeth and was highly uninterested. I pointed out that she was picking her teeth with her fingers and I proceeded to ask her to sanitise her hands before she took my Clicks clubcard. She laughed and walked off to go to the back and returned with the same nonchalant attitude. Although my entire interaction with her was in English she insisted on speaking to me in Xhosa. I requested that she address me in English as my first language is Sesotho and I DO NOT speak Xhosa. Aza disappeared into the back once more for a while and when I asked her colleague Kwanele for about her whereabouts she had the same discourteous manner. I emphasized that all customers matter because we are all paying and are not getting our meds for free. We are paying for the service and this customer service is key for ALL customers I would hope Clicks addressed this repulsive attitude from its dispensary customers at Gugulethu Mall, Cape Town.
