Abusive Clicks Pharmacy Manager Northmead Square Benoni

My name is Alfred Msiza I am a senior citizen of 63 years.

I hereby would like to express my utter disgust at the contemptuous service that I was subjected to from a certain Clicks Pharmacy in Northmead Square Benoni on the 7th November 2023.

The manager of that Pharmacy is a lady surnamed MAKOANA.

I was to receive my clinic medication as per Crystal Park Clinic schedule.

The manner in which the Clicks Pharmacy in Northmead Square Benoni manager went about to assist me showed no respect for me as a customer and human being.

Her subordinates went above and beyond their call of duty to assist me. They made an effort to check on their system as to why my medication was not available for dispensing. Through their diligent effort they were able to explain to me why there was a delay in the delivery.

Given my health issues as a senior citizen who suffers from diabetes and hypertension, vulnerable as I am, needing immediate service, only to be told to phone a certain number where I would be explained to why I am unable to receive my medication. I could not make that call at that time because it was not my responsibility to do so.

Records will show that I have been receiving help from that establishment without unnecessary grief.

I am at wits end as to understand even the look and body language that the manager displayed from a place of medical help and intervention. If I was to request camera footage of that pharmacy, I am quite certain that it would further show that she was very reluctant to assist me.

The fact that I am at a pharmacy already signifies that I am not well and that I am in need of medical assistance so to be treated in that manner left me feeling dejected and utterly hurt.

The manager made no effort to assist me, she lacked empathy and basic communication skills. I do not at any point speak for the masses, but I do worry that maybe her role in that managerial position is a too much for her to bear.

As soon as a client seeks advice from a manager it purely means that the situation has escalated to a point where much intervention is needed. In this case the managers subordinates did a way better job than she did.

I had been a public servant for many years pre-retirement and I held a managerial position, so I know what it means and what it feels like to give and receive great customer service.

My wish is for the manager to receive customer care training and I am of a strong opinion that I am due for an apology from the manager. I do not wish to have my medication dispensed at another Clicks pharmacy in fear of bad treatment from the manager. I wish to continue receiving my medication there. However, much intervention is needed so as to ensure an incident of this nature doesn't rear its nasty head again.

Her abusive nature needs to be handled as soon as possible so that she doesn't inflict this kind of behavior on other senior citizens.
