Highly unprofessional staff at the Clicks Mount Edgecombe Pharmacy

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at the Clicks pharmacy at the Mount Edgecombe Shopping Centre on Saturday, 01 March 2025.

I encountered several issues that I believe need to be addressed urgently.

Firstly, there was a significant shortage of staff, leading to long waiting times and a disorganized environment. The staff present were extremely rude and unhelpful, which exacerbated the frustration of the situation.

Moreover, I was shocked by the lack of order in the storage and handling of medications. The pharmacist was unable to locate my prescribed medication because there were medicines scattered in shopping baskets on the floor. Despite the system indicating that there were five units of the medication in stock, the pharmacist refused to search for them in the baskets. I had to insist on waiting because I urgently needed the medication. To my dismay, the pharmacist then asked me what I would have done if they didn't have stock, which I found to be highly unprofessional and insensitive.

This experience has raised serious concerns about the professionalism and safety standards at your pharmacy as this not only reflects poorly on the professionalism of your pharmacy but also raises serious concerns about the safety and integrity of the medications being dispensed.

I trust that you will take immediate action to address these issues and ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.
