Staff theft

I would like to make you aware of an activity that is happening at one of the clicks branches in Midrand. Yesterday I went to the Midway Mews Cilcks branch and purchased a few items one of them being the pack of 18 clicks brand tissues for R69.95 At the till the lady who was helping me scanned all the items expect for the tissues, when I wanted to take them out of the trolley she said no it's fine. My thoughts were she probably knew the code as it's an item that's mostly bought. So as I left the shop I noticed I had not paid for an item that was underneath the tissues and I went back to the tills to pay for it, as I was waiting in the queue I took a look at my till slip and was surprised by the discovery I made. The tissues were not scanned, but a Revlon item to the amount of R99.99 was scanned instead. That puzzled me as I had not bought any Revlon items. So I asked the same lady that helped me to clarify how this has happened. She also looked surprised and the Supervisor stepped in to assist me. The supervisor went to fetch the Revlon cutex thinking it would be equivalent to the item on the slip so that she could reverse the transaction, but it exceeded. Then this lady that was scanning my items went to fetch 2 or 3 things from Revlon that amounted to the R99.99 on my slip and there after the transaction was reversed.

As I left the shop my husband made me aware that probably this lady had knowingly scanned those Revlon products and was going take them for herself, meanwhile we were ****med into leaving the store with tissues that we would have not paid for and instead paid for this lady's beauty products instead.

This is highly disturbing as I do not know how many people have fallen prey to such activities in your stores.
