DISAPPOINTED PATRON ( now ex patron )

<p>We have been patrons of Clearwater Mall since it opened and have supported the centre , through alterations etc, however after today's incident, which has left me very frustrated I am seriously thinking of going back to Northgte and Cresta.</p> <p>I understand there are other frequent patrons however , the way our lost ticket debacle was handled st 14h 28 today leaves me questioning the management and the safety of the centre.</p> <p>We we arrived at about 12 and did our normal routine lunch and quick shop , when I looked for my parking ticket , it was nowhere to be found , for the first time ever I had mislaid it ( I must mention that I have lost quite a few rands in the past as I have paid for parking and there has been no change R2 over a couple of times adds up , I am always in a hurry and it takes forever to get someone down to the parking Paystation so I leave it and , end up having overpaid , sometines the booms are even open , but I have paid .<br /> I went yo the customer service kiosk and explained what had happened and the 4 or 5 ladies sitting behind eating greasy takeaways said R40 even if you have been here for 5 min and have list your ticket , I said surely you can see my car entering the parking lot ( security ?) no ! Forty Rand ! Surely I should have been charged from 9 until 2 which is not R40 , they could see it was genuine , my husband went to search through the packets , upstairs inn the car , I unpacked my bag and purse at the kiosk , they get eating away ............ I question the management surely there are cameras ? Surely a time frame can be used. One can normally pick out your 'chancers' and that we are not in fact we are far too honest seeing a parking ticket often forgotten in the machine and p'aving it on top ( we could use it and save a few Rand , but we are way to honest ) surely one uses your instinct and phones upstairs for confirmation ,,,,not for us we paid the R40 while thrust munched away at their greasy takeaways ( don't they have lunch hours or an office as it really looks unprofessional ....... I won't be frequenting the centre that much anymore and I will be sure to let family and friends know of our incident send the lack of cameras in the car park .!!!!!!</p> <p>Kind Regards</p> <p>Melanie Kornau<br ********** /> ********** </p>
