Being accused of *****ing

On Saturday the 11th of May 2024, I decided to go to the mall as I needed a few things. Clearwater Mall has been my go to mall ever since I moved to Weltevreden Park and that was when I was in High School. Anyway I have worked in the mall and I buy a lot from the mall. So on this day we go to Pick N pay and I pick a few things , so as I pick them I’m deducing whether I should get them now or later online. So there was this security guy that is following us and I’m like no man he is doing his job, but I can see how he is looking at us, but the back of my mind I don’t mind him.So i decide when I get to the tills that I’m leaving the face wash and the vitamins for baby. So we pay what we got. We walked out the store and as we approach Sounds Great this security guy comes and ask Me to go back to the store, I do as he says, thinking maybe I didn’t pay or something. We get to the store and he is asking me to empty my pockets and I do exactly that . He asks for my receipt and I tell him it’s in the trolley, so my bf comes with my mom and we give him him the receipt. I ask him “Do you think I stole something “. He says the items I had in my hands he saw I didn’t pay for them. So I asked him why leave me to walk out the store and call me back to the store again if you assume I stole something . He couldn’t even explain. I told him there’s no way you would a customer to walk the store if you suspect that they stole something you immediately stop them at the door. This security guy has humiliated me and embarrassed me in front of the customers that was in the store and walked past. How does he accuse someone without proof. And just because I didn’t take the other items I decided to leave them. So basically I’m not allowed to take the items and leave them at the tills, that’s what he is implementing. Pick n Pay Clearwater should really give this security people proper training.
