I contacted Ben Pretorius from Clearview Auctions on 22 May to collect 3 & a half bakkie loads of household items as myself & the kids left for New Zealand on 11 August. Our house was sold & the new owners were waiting for the keys to move in & he said I shouldn’t bother with the list of all that he is loading as he has a lady at the office that make a list of all items received. After many phone calls & personal meetings with him, I still didn’t receive any list as promised & he still owes me R2000. This was the amount that we agreed on that’s still outstanding which is not even 100% correct as he doesn’t have a list of all that was collected. He is playing games & making empty promises to do the payment & when I ask him about it, there is another story. He promised to pay it before the 11th of August when we left for New Zealand & we are almost 2 months here already. Please assist & share this review for other customers to be warned & aware of his way of doing business, before doing business with him.
