Very bad customer service and lies involved

On the 21st September 2020, I made a purchase of a lounge suite and an occasional chair at Clearance Warehouse Africa Montana branch. I was assisted by a sales consultant whom I have asked if the lounge suite is available, he said yes it is available at the warehouse and it will be delivered to me within 3working days after purchase. He even confirmed with Xavier, the store manager or supervisor, I do not know. I even specific to them that the lounge suite is for an occasion that is to happen on the 1st October, I was assured that I will have the lounge suite by then. The 1st passed, no one called or anything until last week, 8 October when I called and spoke to Xavier whom I asked him about my order, he could not tell what is happening. I requested the refund for my order as the occasion I was buying the lounge suite for has already passed. He sent a message the following day that the refund was handed in. It is day 7 today, still no refund and no one bothers themselves to update on what is happening. When I call on the cell numbers he is using for sms's he does not pick up, when you call the shop they forever say he is a meeting. I do not know maybe the shop still has to go and apply for a loan in order to refund me or my is in a 32 days notice account they still waiting for it to mature. What I know is that I need my refund and this will not end well. There has been complaints about this specific branch but I gave a benefit of a doubt and went in and purchased. The level of service is traumatizing to an extent that I should spread the word to everyone not to ever buy anything from Clearance Warehouse Africa if they want to have peace of mind while shopping. The media has to be involved in this matter just to make everyone aware that when they buy here they will never get their goods or refund. I am so disappointed and traumatized that in the midst of so much competition in the furniture industry, there are still establishments that still chooses who to serve and not.
