Ruined instead of repaired

Cleaning brothers in Bryanston is terrible. I took an expensive pink shirt there on Monday for a minor repair - small tear about 1 cm long. Discussed with the tailor directly how he would repair. The lady tried to get me to leave it there again - seriously - so that they could ruin it more. And requested payment?
