Terrible Customer Service

Terrible customer service received Busy with a project and request was fine sand, did a google search and Clayville showed with fine sand in there repository. Went ahead and called the office to arrange and the lady Angelina advised that to achieve fine sand they will need to wash it, was happy with that as that is exactly what it said on the website.

Snippet from website below Purpose: River sand is a good quality and fine sand common used for flooring, paving and gunniting, building, topping and added to concrete as a filler.

NB: Washed river sand is recommended for paving purpose.

made deposit and they took two days to deliver, calling in to enquire was a nightmare over the two days and they could not call me back with an update, they could not even give me a time and did not prioritize even thou pop was prioritized. had builders wait and they could not work.

Escalated to Wayne, not sure his role there however he was rude and did not help the situation. with that escalation nothing was done as well and we just waited.

Nevertheless the sand reached late afternoon 4pm, and it was not what I ordered, order was fine sand and this was co**** as well as the quantity did not seem correct as well.

speaking with the subcontractor was also a rude experience, no delivery note, no paperwork from quarry regarding what we ordered, and also the owner of the subcontractor been rude to us saying they have nothing to do with the sand speak to Wayne, which was difficult as we could not get hold of anyone.

there was a back and forth where we could not get hold of anyone and then finally managed to get Wayne and Angelina on a call explaining that everything is incorrect. I explained to Angelina that the opening conversation was regarding fine sand and that what I requested, she however had amnesia and said we only spoke about washed sand, but the washed sand stipulates on the website that the sand should of been fine. when speaking to Wayne his comments was that he does not know what is fine sand even though it is on there website and from a google search they pop up as primary.

Really unhappy with the service that received, feel like it was **************** from this business and no one was willing to help. they should really look at there operating model. To the community the above where the sequence of events, in my view they should not be opened as they do not know anything about customer service. everything ended up in a he said she said situation. if there was a minus rating they should definitely get it.
