Damaged car during was and refuse to accept responsibility

<p>I'd like to share the bad experience I had at Classique Car Wash this morning.</p> <p>When I received my car back after being washed, I noticed numerous scratches down the left-hand side and around the left front and rear lights. These scratches appear consistent with a rag having picked up a piece of stone and scratching the car as it was being washed. I approached the manager to discuss the issue. He was totally dismissive and rude and refused to even come with me to look at the damage. He simply said that it is impossible that the scratches were due to their actions and that I was either confused or lying.</p> <p>I take pride in the appearance of my car and repair scratches as they occur. There is no way that my car was in this state when I gave it to them.</p> <p>As a previously loyal long-time customer and someone who has referred many people to them and vouched for them over the years I am saddened and disgusted by the poor attitude of their manager and the refusal to accept responsibility. I am now left with thousands of rands of damage which will need be paid from my pocket due to their incompetence.</p> <p>While all this was happening, I also witnessed another customer attempting to discuss his poorly cleaned car with what I presume was one of their supervisors. This gentleman walked away from the customer while he was still speaking to him, and exhibited pretty much the same could-not-care-less attitude I experienced. Guess this is the way they work.</p> <p>It is a shame that this once great car wash is going down the drain in this way. Be warned, you are gambling when you leave your car here for wash.</p>
