Classic Removals lies and deceit

<p>Good day</p> <p>I would like to report an ************ and disgusting company.<br />My parents were relocating from Durban to Pretoria in the beginning of June, and we enlisted the services of Classic Removals.</p> <p>A quote was given to us of about R7900 and we paid in full upfront.<br />The items were to be collected on Friday and delivered on Tuesday. On the Monday we were told that the new price was R10 800 due to a miscalculation.<br />We then paid that amount and awaited the goods. On Tuesday evening a truck with half our belongings arrived. Before they offloaded they demanded an additional R400 for tax.<br />At no point were we told that everything would not be there, we paid upfront so that everything would be delivered.</p> <p>After much fighting and arguing from a disrespectful, *********** woman named Jessica, more of our belongings were delivered on Friday.<br />Our furniture and dishes were scratched and broken. Still no apology from anyone.<br />When I asked to speak to a manager or someone higher, Jessica's response was constantly that nobody was available.</p> <p>It has now been almost a month, and the rest of our things have still not been delivered. Every call ends in Jessica getting upset or lying that it will be delivered the next day. It has been one of the worst and most stressful times in our lives as these are my parents treasured belongings that they have acquired over time.<br />It is disgusting that Classic Removals have total disregard for their customer's satisfaction or for ethical business practice's.</p> <p>I wish that I has researched then thoroughly first, now that I Google them, I have found pages upon pages of complaints from customers with a similar if not worse experience than mine.</p> <p>I hope that consumer watch can expose this pathetic company for their lying and ********* ways and hopefully spare other innocent people the trauma of dealing with classic removals.</p>
