Appalling design quality, horrible customer service & no refund in sight!

Appalling design quality, horrible customer service and communication. Please, do not buy anything from this company.

My wife ordered the Scandi Dressing Table and not only did we not get instructions on how to build the thing but (and these are just to name a few issues)...

1. The tabletop 2 drawer unit had been built upside down. 2. The inside of the drawers were white and not the advertised natural wood 3. The *****s supp**** were all one size and not long enough to mount the mirror to the table 4. The under stool leg holes have been miss aligned so badly that the wood had split. 5. The unit had a number of dents, scratches and signs of wood splitting.

After this we decided to get a full refund and get the units shipped back to Classic Designs with a promise from them that the manager would call us to discuss the problem and get refunded in full for the R12,765.99 we paid.

It has now been 2 months and the manager has still not contacted us and we have still not received a refund even though we submitted the form within the given time period and were approved. I call to follow up and am told there is a backlog of refunds...

We have now approached the consumer ombudsman and will pursue all means to get our money back. I am not backing down from this one.
