Classic cupboards experience ***ner: Vernon)

Firstly, I'd like to explain that this business is a Durban (Phoenix) based company. As I noticed there are companies in other areas of South African and the world that share the same name.

So it's been a little over a year now that Vernon, the owner of the business, installed built in cupboards in our home.

At first glance you would have to admit the imagination, thought process, and colour scheme will give u the impression that this is a beautiful professional job.

But, unfortunately I have to disagree with your first thoughts And ask you to look again, it is far from that! After numerous calls with Vernon, trying to get him to correct the mistakes, and some problems that we have with the installation. And still, about a year and 3 months counting Vernon continues to avoid our calls and put off the fixes for when he gets a new client closer by.

At the beginning he is very attentive, he will visit you multiple times a week, he will call multiple times a day trying to get you to confirm the quote. Thereafter his ***s arrive and install without the supervision of the owner (Vernon). And when the job was "done" and we complained that the job isn't done to our satisfaction, that's precisely the point that we got ghosted. We had to call from a different cell just to get his attention and tell him the sink that he installed was leaking and damaged the wood under. (which was eventually fixed - after a lot of arguing and at our expense)

The cupboard doors are all skewed, no corner meets another (as shown in just a few pictures below). The granite is spreading apart and the grouting is now cracking. The granite installation has to be my least favourite part of the process as we spent a lot of money to get these slabs for Vernon and his crew to not measure or instruct the granite installers properly, which ended up with patches of granite where it was supposed to be one piece.

It's with great frustrating that I write this review as I feel that it may be small errors that I may be picking up on wrt the corners not meeting or uneven doors, but it's an absolute eye sore. It's frustrating and disappointing that a design we put a lot of thought into, just became an eyesore rather than something we can be proud of.

I WOUD ADVISE ANYONE, ANYONE! YOU RATHER SAVE AN EXTRA MONTH OR SO AND PAY THAT EXTRA! AVOID USING VERON OF CLASSIC CUPBOARDS!!!
