CK Car Hire and Wat Swaai JY ?
This is a follow up on my experience with CK Car hire in Malmesbury. They refused to return my deposit and communicate with me and MIOSA. The company, Nadia Villjoen is a ****mer who is also associated with the dealership Wat Swaai Jy, so be cautious with dealing with them. Terrible to think that companies like them can be allowed to operate seemingly unaccountable for ****ming people !

Death trap CK Car Hire
I hired a car from them, regretted it the moment I reached the highway. The car felt unsteady, dash vibrating so had to drive below 80km/ hour. When I luckily reached my destination and restarted the battery seemed to be struggling. The next day it left me, my dog and a friend stranded by not starting. I WhatsApp the company for assistance and no answer. Left a message and called the emergency number on the car and no answer. Kept calling until it went to voicemail and left a message. No call back. So had to solve it on my own. No apologies from management nor owner, just blaming me for leaving something on that drained the battery. I had them collect the car as it was at an Airbnb and had to use and pay for alternate transportation. They prey on their customers breaking down which is guaranteed and charge exorbitant fees to help and blame you for anything that goes wrong. Please do not even think about a car hire from CK Car Hire in Malmesbury. You will only put yourself and your loved ones at risk and help keep *****ed people in business. Shame on them !

Pathetic and useless CK car hire malmersbury
Not good at all like really bad. This company is a ****ming company. I rented a car with them and bare in mind their cars are skorokoros like really old ****ed up cars. I dropped the car off, went to PE and waited for my deposit to be refunded. After 14 days I called asking for my money and there was a rude useless Afrikaans buur man called Mr Ferreira who refused to return my money. Those people are ****mers, people must stop going to CK car hire in malmersbury. I have voice notes of rude useless Mr Ferreira telling me **** that he's gonna take my money and go to a ******* magistrate to garnish my salary but I will expose him and his ******* magistrate

***** company ripping people off there hard earned money
I am unhappy with this ck car hire in malmusbery i drive from there untill stellinbosch the clutch fails nou they say i was the one breaking the clutch and they going to take there money for clutch but they want to rop me now to take money for the time they took to put the clutch i was driving from herm**** to malmusbury to no clutch burn for all the people that is working there get a way there because one day you will rop the wong people and someone can get killed there but this ck car hire is a ***** this is waht thy do to people but i can tell the lord that i serv will close your business they have my money but i dont have there car but i can tell you today you have try to rop the wong person today people are working hard for that money but hoe better hope for your self you pay all my money in tomorrow morning

We are form herm**** i am so unhappy we standing next to the road until 11pm last night and when i phone the guy on the phone dont know how to talk on the but they are siting with my money so know i have to wait until my money reflecting in there account this is the first rental company i come a cross that have treated me this way i have no car but they have my money 2 kars not one have get me to herm****.

Unroadworthy and ********* car hire company
I would like to express our complete frustration with regards to CK car hire. The first car we were given we couldn't drive as it kept stalling The Lady on Wed attempted to assist and replaced with another car. All they did is replace one problem with another. If you look at the Odometer readings you will see that on car 1, it was from Ck car hire to our residence, the next day my hubby used it for work but it keep stalling and the rest of the time it was Parked. Then he had to take it back and by the time he got to them there was even smoke coming out of the engine and the R500 he put in for petrol was gone. The 2nd car he said felt like the gearbox was going to fall out . Didn't drive it Thursday and took it back Friday. Once again it cost us petrol and then he had to Uber back only to find out ubers don't come your side so he paid a private transport guy to get home. Another cost. So in theory this rental has not only been a complete waste of time but also cost us money. We have been told refunds will take 14 days which is also bull****. Pity we didnt read all your reviews before hiring a car otherwise we would have seen you give unroadworthy cars to rent. (Which i am sure is *******) I made an immediate payment and expect all costs and deposit to be refunded to me in the normal 3 to 5 days . I understand the md was on leave but quite frankly not my problem. The Md also doesn't know how to respond to customer and won't refund me even when the car has been returned to them 10 days ago already and keeps saying as per contract refunds take 14 working days. My argument is contract or no contract, CK car hire has not fulfilled their side of the Contract as they provided unsafe and unroadworthy cars. I want my refund and I want someone to go and inspect their cars and close them down.. Not safe at all I have email correspondence and WhatsApp of our complaints and happy to share

Unroadworthy and ********* car hire company

Oil leak, exorbitant deductions, 19 days after received deposit back
I am very unhappy with this company. I rented a 2009 Polo for R7 000 and, upon receiving the car, noticed that the oil was leaking. They checked and said that someone had put in too much oil but assured me it was fine. However, no one ever followed up on the issue, and the oil continued dripping for the entire month that I had the vehicle. The car was collected on 1 September, and I had paid a R3 900 deposit. From that, I only received R2 000 back. Some of the deductions may be fair, but nearly R300 for cleaning”, another R300 for admin, and R500 for stickers I removed after asking for permission. To make matters worse, I only received my deposit back on 19 September — which is unacceptably long. The staff are extremely rude and clearly do not know how to deal with customers.

THEY WILL ROB YOU, YOUR DEPOSIT MONEY
We hired a car with CK car rental and scheduled for Saturday. When we got to Malmesbury from Cape town. These horrible and rude people were no where to be found PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WERE USING PUBLIC TRANSPORT. Our calls were ignore PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ALREADY PAID EVERYTHING AS THE COMPANY SEEMED TO BE GENUINE. When they decided to answer our calls they told us to come back on Monday because they are out of town, we stood there like lost people and anything could have happened to us and they did not care. These ****mers DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS THEY ARE BIG PRETENDERS AND ****MERS. These people were so RUDE, we begged them for something we didn't do all because we wanted to go back to cape Town with the car we paid for. They refused to assist. CK CAR HIRE is a **** please DONT USE THEM. You will regret. I sent them letters of demand they ignore everything. These people owe us R10 300 and they not paying it back infact they don't want to pay it back (for a car we didn't even use).
