Watch Discontinued, No Strap For A New Looking Watch

My wife bought me a Police wrist watch about 9 years ago as My birthday present and a strap came off about a couple of months ago . Took it to NWJ of which they shipped it to Chris gift sales so it could have 1strap fitted, my watch is back no repairs made on it I'm now told my model was discontinued and there's absolutely nothing they can do about it .

I phoned them to inquire how come they don't have spares for my watch,how am I suppose to wear it with only one strap, was told by the repair manager Andri that just like cars get discontinued so are wrist watches and I should know what to do with it since it will no be able to be fixed . Furthermore it's no longer under warranty so they're not in anyway obligated to perform repairs on . What kind of treatment is that ? My watch still looks new as I only wore it on special occasions so now what am suppose to do with a watch with only one strap on it .
