Unsatisfied customer from Gift sales shop

Good Day On the 21/12/2018 we purchase 2 watches for His and Hers, for ladies watch model was HB1371C s/n HA-1290C (Hallmark) brand sold by Miles & purchased by Martha in Pretoria in Miles Gift Centre shop amounting to R768.00. I only wear it when I do the fitting on that day during the purchasing and put it back in its black box, only to find it a bit grayish when I wear it on 24/01/2019.

Respond that I got from the shop Hi Martha I have been in contact with the shop Miles Gifts that are an authorised agent. He remembers this particular watch as the plating had come off due to in his opinion chemical reaction. He says you were unhappy with this determination and left the shop. The Guarantee does not cover the plating. The best option is to get the watch to our repair centre where is can be assesed by our watch makers and a proper determination made. Any Hallmark stockist can send the watch in to us on your behalf. Dean Bush .

I can definitely say with confidence that that is not a factory fault, and the tarnishing has been caused by either a chemical example hair spray, or perfume or even it can sometimes be a reaction to some people’s skin (excessive acidity).
