Faulty watch strap

My wife purchased me a Hallmark wrist watch at Edgars Mall of the North in Polokwane for our wedding day as a wedding gift from her to me. I put on the watch at +- 14h45 in the car on my way to the chapel, while walking to the chapel from the car tye watch literally just fell off of my arm, tye wedding was on a farm so I could not get all the parts as it was somewhere in the gravel. We went on honeymoon and upon returning to home from honeymoon we went to Edgars on 4 November 2017 to give in the watch, where they told me that I would have an answer in two weeks, no answer was given in two weeks, we then contact edlule them where by they advised us that the watch will be back in the following week which was last week. We contacted Sophia at Edgars last week again only to find that the watch is not returning back and they now have a quote to repair the watch for R175, I Declined the quote due to the face that it is poor manufacturing of the watch and I cant pay for something that is not my fault,edgars then gave me CJR Gift Sales number which Supply the watches to edgars only to find the lady incredibly rude and saying Im not her client and Im not allowed to phone their offices and that I should talk to edgars, I was in edgars at that moment and gave the phone to Sophia, the lady Bianca from CJR was then also incredibly rude to Sophia due to her giving me their contact number. They had a new quite for over R300 for the repairs of the watch. I Declined the quote once again due to the face that it is poor manufacturing and also now the quote is higher. The watch was purchased in September 2017 and was put away to hi de from me by my wife as it was my wedding gift, watch was only opened on 21 October 2017, tye day of our wedding. I dont know what to do anymore, edgars is rising their shoulders in this regard and CJR Gift Sales also. The lady at Edgars is Sophia and can be reached on + ********** 0000. I also contacted Biancas manager today and got the same treatment as from Bianca before, tye manager is Andrea and can be Reached on ********** 024 with same reference number.
