Horrible experience

If anyone is considering taking their car to CJ Auto 131 Voortrekker street in brakpan please think again. Read this first and then you can decide: I took my car to them on the 17th of FEB this year for a quotation and after looking at the work he's done I paid him the 80% deposit he requested to get my car resprayed and do a few repairs on the 20th of Feb and he promised to have my car ready in two weeks time. I went often to check on my car to find little to no progress everytime I asked about it he kept giving me some excuse or the other later on I hear that my car is being spotted at a school, at the bank and going up and down voortrekker road several times a day when I asked him about it he says to me well who's petrol is it because I gave the car to him with the fuel on reserve. I wanted to take my car away that day but reconsidered since I'd already paid a deposit and didn't want to risk losing my deposit my father had also bought a car recently the same make and model as mine and needed to get transfer of ownership and licensing done on the car he said he can get it done we gave him the money and paperwork and till today haven't gotten it back everytime we asked he again had some excuse or the other for us after the first week of leaving the car with him and seeing such little progress I started to go check the car more often and told him I need my car to be done by the 9th of March because il be returning to work early that means all together he would have had the car two weeks and four days yet there was still not much done on the car when my father went to see it that week to make matters worse when my father went again on the 12th (this past Thursday) we see his workshop locked up since then the shop hasn't been opened and his phone has been unreachable he has my car and my father's car papers and he is now unreachable since both cars are the exact same make and model I'm left with no choice but to assume the worst when I questioned the people around his workshop I hear that he's been giving his mechanics to use my car as well! Some say he's gone on holiday. My car is no where to be seen I am beyond stressed at this point and very angry at the whole situation how can I know for sure that he is actually on holiday and hasn't just decided to disappear with my car my deposit as well as the paperwork to my father's car which like I mentioned is the same make and model as MINE. the decent thing to do would have been to inform me that he wont be around and where my car is how can he just up and leave without a word knowing my car is overdue and I desperately need it. I would hate to see anyone else go though this mess so please guys share this and spread the awareness
