Erecting 2 poles on either side on my driveway without discussion or consultation

As I drive out of my driveway this morning there are two guys digging holes on either side of my driveway literally within 10 meters of the entrance to my property. When I ask them what they are doing I am told they are putting poles for fibre? Don't I want fibre???? The amazing thing is that my home is across the road from the golf course with plenty of space and pavement on the opposite side of the road to plant poles for fibre without defacing my property, WHY are the poles not being planted there without interfering with the value of my property, the access to my property and restricting the height of access to my property. WHY was I not afforded the courtesy of a consultation, advise or any kind of communication. HOW DARE YOU VIOLATE MY RIGHTS for financial gain????
