Rude City Cabs Taxi Driver

I was driving along Somerset road, towards Cape Town CBD, in the right-hand lane of the dual-carriageway. The taxi driver in question was next to me, in the left-hand lane, perhaps half a meter further forward. As we got to a point in the road where parked cars were taking up space in the left-hand lane, instead of stopping or indicating a request to change lanes, he veered over into mine, but since my lane was so narrow, I had nowhere to move to the right. I hooted to let him know he was about to crash into me, and he responded first with wild arm movements and then a middle finger stuck out of his window as he drove past me afterwards.<br> <br> The driver's licence plate was CA 259 222.<br> <br> I will never drive in one of these cabs after this experience.
