No regard to Client service

If there was a star below one, I would gladly give it to this review. Firstly I would like it to be know that I've been using Citybug for over 13 years. They claim to give 10% discount to students upon registration on their system. My daughter registered and received the 10% discount in December 2022. I tried to book her a bus today by sending an email with all her details and received nothing but a text message with a link to make a full payment with no discount. I called them to enquire and I was told the discount only applies to local students( not international). I further enquired if the policy has changed as we've booked before and the discount was given. The lady on the phone firstly answered the phone while coughing and did not bother to apologise for that as maybe that seemed ok /professional to her. While talking to her she asked her manager to confirm what she told me who was next to her I assume ,again without any warning or apology. She then bluntly told NO DISCOUNT!!!! When I asked her why it was done before she gave me a very aggressive and cold " I DON'T KNOW WE ARE USING A NEW SYSTEM FROM SEPTEMBER" She then transferred me to the lady that makes online bookings who rudely asked me if I sent an email which I confirmed and she told me she responded to all her emails. The bottom line is the ladies were so rude and unapologetic to reasons only known to them . I honestly don't want to state what the reasons could be from my perspective. I stated to the lady my disappointment and make know that I feel like she doesn't care and basically saying if you not happy go somewhere else. To my surprise she said " Well, if you feel like that you can do it". Please tell me which business that strives for client service have people that represent and work for them that speaks to clients in that manner?? Citybug seems to forget that "Clients" are what made the company what it is today. No matter how great the service they offer is without PASSENGERS it is Nothing. Please let that SINK IN!!
