NEGLIGENT AND BAD INFO COMMUNICATOR STAFF MEMBER PROTECTED AT THE EXPENSE OF CUSTOMER
I was a victim of a consultants negligence and commission and told I had forfeited my daughter's ticket when infact I had called in to arrange avoiding just that. They protect their staff at the expense of customers. Sadly I think because they employ Afrikaans speaking staff, it compromises English conversations . First time after many years using their service I had to deal with an after ticket sale admin and I lost my money and hey don't care. Very disappointing and very after sale cold attitude experience. As a customer you take all the blame even if it's evidently the consultant's fault.

13 Oct 2022, 12:27Thank you for your Hallo Peter, as per the reply on the email to you as well.
Citybug have listened to the recordings.
On the first call you said that you do not want to cancel.
Then on the second call you asked for the ticket to be moved three months in advance- making it for 10 January 2023.
Departing for Lanseria to Nelspruit.
The consultant also told you that the proof of payment for the R100 admin fee was supposed to be sent to us within 6 hours.
You have not paid the R100 admin fee as per your agreement.

13 Oct 2022, 13:06I was given no choice but to succumb to the only option the consultant left me with on my second call because indeed I had not initially intended to cancel given that my daughter uses the shuttle regularly however on condition I am able to provide an alternative date to move the ticket before 1pm. I called at 12h50( sent proof of call log to Charl) stating that I am unable to confirm an alternative date at this stage and therefore opt for cancellation and I was told I fortified that option and could only now move the ticket for maximum 3 months forward. I expressed my communication disappointment to the consultant who then gave the latest validly date for the ticket to me as the 10th of January 2023. She told me she would send a link to facilitate this only option and I was to pay an extra R100 to keep the ticket valid and I was also allowed to change the passengers name if anyone would like to use it in the future within the validity. She gave me 6 hours to pay the R100 after the call and her immediately sending the link to pay via sms. I waited for that link and realise my 6 hours would soon be up and took the initiative to use the only banking details info for ticket purchases I had on record to make the payment given that their call centre closed at 1pm. I sent the POP to Charl that confirms this. The forfeiture is now based on my not sending the POP before the 6 hours payment window time. I then asked to whom wa I expected to send it as I never received the link with the info. Charl was the one investigatin this matter who became the contact to send the POP. Now this is my ultimate bone of contention. I succumbed to ill information to revert before 1pm to the confirm way forward and ended losing the practical option being cancellation. Now I loose the entire ticket cost. Unacceptable.I have requested the recording so I can facilitate through my Attorney if this judgement is fair as a matter of principal first and further my right to my funds.Every unjust cent taken is acceptable as it amounts to theft.
