City to City - the worst service ever!!

My son of 17 spent the 10th of October, "trapped" in the desert on a broken City to City bus for 12 hours, between 3 am and 3 pm, with people who weren't all pleasant. The plan was to depart Johannesburg 4:15 pm on the 9th and arrive in Mossel Bay at 8:25 am the following day, which is about a 15 hour trip. Instead his trip took 29 hours. They were not provided with any food or drink, so he basically went through the whole day hungry, and not a single apology came from either bus drivers stuck between Britstown and Victoria West with them. Eventually the replacement bus arrived (just as shoddy), all the way from Pretoria, after what truly seemed like a lifetime. And let's not forget that this bus had no toilet facilities. AND there were two couples on board with babies. So we have come to the conclusion that City to City Buses has no regard for their passengers safety or wellbeing. I will never send my son on this bus service ever again!! I am still waiting on a reply from customer care. Let's see if this even happens.
