City Cite Projects Useless, Lying, ****mers!

We had the displeasure to use City Site Projects for our Move from Pretoria to Cape Town in December 2023. We had good service initially, we even phoned 3 people to provide us with references, which today I believe to be ****d.

We were promised a 4 ton truck with helpers, they would load on the 28th of November and deliver 1 December 2023. To our Horror the first excuses began with the truck was busy elsewhere and a subcontracted person arrived with a 1 ton truck and small trailer. Our belongings did not fit so we had to arrange another pick up. We were promised that it would be sored in a safe storeroom in Kempton park and repacked into the truck once it was fixed. We were still promised a deliver 1 December 2023.

Second lie - Our furniture and beloningns were taken to a farm in Krugersdorp and put in some strangers lounge. This same people who collected our belongings did arrive not at 7am but just before 7pm. Two people no helpers. I had breast cancer and had to offload my furniture myself. Then to top it all almost all furniture and appliances were damaged, wood scratched, paintings damaged. Even our fridge door fell off broken out of the top bracket. So called professional movers. When I reported this to the Owners wife Jolene I was shouted at at sworn at. I have Whatsapp voice recordings to support this.

I had to assist the people who helped bring the move look for accommodation. The next day I had to pay an additional fee to take the excess to a storage as well. During this period the owner Russel refused to pay the people to bring down the rest of our move. He initially stated to me he only had R2000 left of my money and to get the rest of my belongings to cape town. He later said he would repay half of my money and even stated on an emaill he will repay. Its 6 months later, the R11 000 was never repaid, He stated I will have to get a laywer to sue him for the money.

The rest of my move was arranged by myself and these strangers. City Site Projects **** from day one, they provided exceptionally poor service or rather no service, retaining money for services not delivered. Apparently had insurance to cover our damages and they never even had insurance!

Do not use City Site Projects for any service, they are ****mers and lie.
