We bought a Mercedes from them that advertised a two year motor warrenty which we paid extra for, after driving the car for 3 months the engine piston gave in, we went to Mercedes and they advised that the motor warrenty was cancelled with no reason or any indication of who cancelled the warrenty. We contacted the dealership for weeks and all they had to say was that they do not provide motor Warrenty’s and that they are not responsible for the damages. We took up the matter with the motor ombudsman however it has been 3 months now and we have not received a response from the dealership or the ombudsman. We are now left with a half a million rand car that is unable to drive and it seems that no one is helping us. Is this the country we live in where you can get ****** in brought daylight and no one, not even institutions put in place for the public citizens are willing assist. Our human rights are being violated in front of our faces and everyone turns a blind eye. We are every disappointed in the level of service and *******ion we have to face in South Africa. I urge whoever is reading this never to purchase a vehicle from City Side Motors Pretoria. I pray that justice will be served.
