DON'T USE CITY ON THE MOVE FURNITURE REMOVALS

Never use CITY ON THE MOVE for furniture removal. They qoute, you pay.... And then it starts... You never hear from them, you email-they don't reply. If you pay immediately in full, you get 10% discount. So I did. Then when the day arrives for your furniture to be collected, the owner let you know that you must self arrange a vehicle to shuttle the furniture because he did not qoute for it. But from start it was said that I live in a complex. So I had to pay someone for that. We drove through the night, because the driver said he is willing to offload the following day. This was service with a smile.... At our new house, we were phoned to say that our furniture is here, but the driver was not paid for the trip, so he can't offload. The driver has been sub contracted by city on the move. I phoned the owner, he then told me that he doesn't have money to pay the driver. When I asked him what he have done with the money that I paid him, he rep**** by just saying that he does not know what to do. I was furious... Told the man that I am going to speak to my lawyer, because it is unacceptable. We drove to where the driver were standing, told him we are consulting with our lawyer. He also contacted some lady, to assist with his payment. Then suddenly a payment was made into the drivers account. If this wasn't done, I would've had to pay the money for the driver and then through my laywer, started a civil claim. It is unacceptable, you want things to run smooth, relocating itself, is very stressful. I would not even give CITY ON THE MOVE a one star rating, nevermind recommend them. Very bad experience!!!
