I think that I am probably the last to find the following out but, if you find your self estranged and your partner leaves you at home with the kids, the next thing to go shall be your utilities. Living in the dark for over 2 years and my business offline to for 21 days means this entity more damaging than a pandemic and riots. Holding a monopoly with the most appalling systems that don't even know who I am and paying this bill for 15 years for 6; other people who are still leeching off me, the city couldn't issue me prepaid meters, 3 years ago, and they still can't now. They can't action I thing I say, except I must make a payment plan for an account that isn't mine, and pay for 6 people who don't contribute including the account holder and I can't earn a living. I can't make a payment plan but I did stop paying. They can't issue me my own account or meters despite my name being added by and on the title deeds. I have not engaged with ******* activities. Spent 2 winters in JHB in the dark and survived a pandemic in n the dark but my tools needed to operate a hospitality establishment requires service delivery. They don't care that I can't earn a living to pay their bills but I have not engaged in *******ion and got no benefit. So I would ignore the validity of collusion on a disconnect card as my experience got nothing, do whatever it takes to look after yourself the municipality doesn't care about you the customer, go off grid people.
