Will Be Back

I visited the City Lodge Hotel on 03 Feb 2020 and as soon as I got off the plane it was nothing like the 26° the pilot had said. It was warm and humid like I have never experienced in PE but maybe Durban.

It was one of their hottest days of the year or in a while. Arrived at the hotel and greet by Aya at reception. Room sorted and went to #Cafe for some supper.

I met Raymond, Nombuso and Zola as well as another young waitress. Great food and drink and would recommend the chicken salad definitely.

The staff at breakfast the next day were all very helpful and friendly and management were also attentive. Not like in restuarants but as in whether I had any tea or coffee and was I served.

The room was bit dated - finishes but comfortable. Based on my first supper I went back the next few nights. I even tested the closing time as I was late on Wednesday evening and we were three waiting to order just before 10pm closing. But the food was still great. I would also recommend the chicken with pap. The chicken mayo was ordinary not like the other meals but none the less a huge portion. My fries in meals were made as requested extra crispy - by Zola and staff kept me entertained with their unusually high spirits.
