Water wastage unacceptable

Your new Road Lodge in Hayfields, Pietermaritzburg, KZN, refers.

It took between three and four minutes for the water to heat up when turning on the hot tap in my room (no.32) on Thursday (7th of Jan). This is a terrible waste of water in this time of drought and water shortage.

I suggest you adjust your hot water system to avoid this with immediate effect.

i also suggest you have an automatic water stoppage system which could save your group money as well as save water.

Apart from this, the staff did not seem to know that I was arriving despite having booked online???

Also a hint, please raise the level of your mirrors in the rooms so that people who are more than 5'5'' can see their faces in them.

In addition, the wifi speed was not good at all.

The air conditioner unit is clearly of very old design and it was so noisy that I had to turn it off in order to fall asleep.

There was no bacon on offer in your breakfast offering.

The signage near and directly outside your hotel is non-existant. I was driving from Durban late at night and even when 100m from your hotel, there were no signs indicating where to go to find the Road Lodge.
