Unprofessional service - unfair to us
My husband phoned the hotel to book a stay, arrived at 6 he paid and booked us in and we went for dinner. Returning at 10 we realised that the hotel was doing renovations and the paint fumes were terrible in our room. After getting asthma for the second time and my medication not working we decided to leave. The receptionist said she could have given us a another room which made me angry because why would you put someone in a paint fume room if you have one that is not close to is. Feeling sick I said we would rather leave and get a refund. She said the manager would attend to the refund the next day. We heard nothing and 2 later I went to see Jaco. He promised to get back to me.2 weeks later I phoned Bradley who promised to give a message to Jacob and the next day I spoke to Maurice who said Jaco is off I asked him to speak to Jaco, who then told him we will not get a refund because MVG booked it for us and they should have told us and we stayed the whole day and I was suppose to send him an email which I did not. All facts wrong, we booked with the hotel and they should have informed us of the renovations, I did send the email and he had all my details to get back to me
