Unexceptional Service
<p>I went to the City Lodge in N1 City on Friday (06/05/16) evening to stay over. I've been helped by a lady by the name of Andrea. I told her its for myself and my wife with 2 kids (ages 6 and 2). She then called the manager on the phone to check ii dont know what. She then advised me that the manager told her that we need to book 2 rooms for my family. How the hell do you expect me to get 2 rooms for my family. My kids are still very young, what the hell were you thingking breaking up a family. I excepted you to atleats have a suite available. I normally make use of the Protea Hotel group and they never gave me such bad service. A word of advide, don't ever try and break up a family. I will never make use of your facility. Your services sucks. you more interested in maximising profit; then seeing to people's need, which they are paying for. You wont exist without us.</p> <p> </p> <p>O by the way, we stayed over at the Sun 1, your rival. </p>
Please accept our apologies for this mix-up. We understand that the assistant general manager of the hotel has also contacted you to offer his apologies. It appears that the staff at the hotel should have been more informative about the types of rooms available at the hotel. This hotel accommodates a maximum of three people per room, but does not have inter-leading rooms which are available at Road Lodge Cape Town International Airport. We hope that next time you book at one of our hotels we are able to meet your room configuration more adequately.
