Room not cleaned prior to check-in

We decided to stay at the Road Lodge for its convenient location, as we had to catch a plane first thing in the morning. We had to book 2 rooms, paying full price, as we were 3 persons travelling together. It was really a disappointment to walk into the first room. Although the beds were made, the room was definitely not cleaned. Evidence of the previous visitor checking out 2 days prior to our check-in, which was on Saturday 12 March 2016, was still in the room on the Road Lodge's card ticket. Food half eaten, purchased also on the same day, 10 March, was left in the room. The soaps used by that guy still lay in the shower and on the basin counter, while new soaps were also there. The basin was blocked also and the built-up water on use. Don't know if I will stay there again!<br>
