Road Lodge Randburg, Malibongwe Drive

I booked in last night the 28/03/2015 into the Road Lodge situated in Malibongwe drive, the staff at the front desk were very nice and very helpful. I booked into the hotel very late at around 21:00PM for an overnight stay, when I entered the room everything including the bedding was not done properly. <br> 1. There was old food underneath the bed, together with cigarrete buds, pieces of who knows what in the corners of the room. <br> 2. actual grease marks on the windows, the mirrors and the shower door<br> 3. The shower had mildew <br> 4. The smokers side of the hotel was the only room available for last night, which I accepted however the staff had advised that there was suitable aircons to rid the room of smoke, this was not the case. <br> 5. used ******s and other items left underneath the bed. <br> <br> the overall look, feel and hygiene of the room was utterly disgusting! having to pay R560 for a room for an overnight stay not of choice but of desperation as nothing else was available, the entire experience was shocking and need less to say horrible and a very unpleasant experience. <br> <br> I would like the hotel manager to contact me and not to offer me another stay but to have my money refunded
