Restored faith in City Group, Spectacular turn around

Often we don't take the time to leave a positive review and only a negative review. After having a bad experience at City Lodge Menlo, I had a lengthy chat with their Manager Cecile Fisher. We agreed that it was unfortunate and she did everything in her power to change my opinion on the City Lodge Group. She said if ever there was a time when we needed a room for a night I should just let her know. I did use the opportunity and made contact with her the 4th of February 2021 and explained that I was looking for a 1 night stay for my 21st wedding anniversary. Immediately she jumped into high gear and arranged absolutely everything. We booked in to Garden Court Sandton where we were greeted and welcomed and given the keys to our room. On arrival in the room we were welcomed with a lovely, spotless room and a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates and chips with a lovely card. I would just like to thank the City Group for changing my viewpoint on the Group and having a awesome experience. I big thank you to Cecile for her arrangements as well as Megan and Melanie at the Sandton Garden Court. We had an amazing night with you and will be back again. Thank you so much
