City Lodge, you are amazing

<p>After a long hard day of board meeting we arrive exhausted at the Morning side City lodge only to be told our room had been given to someone else and that they were fully booked. Imagine my irritation!<br /><br /></p> <p>Senzo was very patient with my less than gallant behaviour but things escalated to the point where the manager, George, needed to get involve. George was amazing. He sat me down, offered me a free breakfast and made sure that Katherine Street City Lodge had a place for me.<br /><br /></p> <p>Danie, the manager at Katherine street, what can I say? He is exceptional. We were treated like royalty. When things go chaotic in the dining hall at breakfast, he moved us into the boardroom and provided personalised service.<br /><br /></p> <p>The following day it was back to Mornigside were we were booked. On arriving, Senzo greeted us with a frown. He looked at the one computer then at the other and then frowned at me and said… “I am afraid we are full booked”. Just as I was about to start down the long deep and embarrassing road he smile and winked at me.</p> <p>George, Senzo and I laughed long and hard. It was just what I needed.<br /><br /></p> <p>City Lodge, I cannot commend you enough for your amazing people. If all companies had your commitment to customer satisfaction the world would truly be a better place.<br /><br /></p> <p>I look forward to my next stay with you.</p>
